ON VACATION, “IN AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION”

I’m posting to you all from a boat, a ship actually—”in an undisclosed location”—as they say, where I’m on vacation.

Actually, I’m more of an adventure traveler, preferring to be threatened by a huge angry elephant than pampered to death by an ever-present and willing member of the crew.
It’s said that one needs to take time away from business to be able to ignore the ever-present challenges—to just “fuggedaboutit.”
I get that, but I find myself thinking about business virtually all the time, admittedly in a more rewarding way while on vacation. Without the constant need of my attention to smallish questions that could surely be better answered by others, I’m able to set loose my enthusiasm for all things business, to concentrate on my company, on my career, on my responsibilities to so many others in my business circle.
I can let my entrepreneurial spirit soar!
I can dream big and strong, and make gigantic plans for future success. I have never actually worked for the money as many do, but instead I have worked for success. Of course, with success comes money, so it can work out well.
Now let me off this craft. I’ve got to get back to Chicago. I must make certain that Fox ends up well in this rather precarious year, what with all the political uncertainties, the inflation, the fears of so many to make an investment in the future.
Then I/we have plans for a great 2025, and ever after.
