Happy Holidays y’all! Here’s a confession that I’m certain I share with virtually every one of you. I was a bit concerned all through the fall months. You know those stretches when you have to hit a budget, and for a period of time—sometimes weeks—it seems like nothing is happening? Business feels static? That’s where I was for a while. Marketers seemed frozen in place, feeling little urgency to reach their customers, particularly through our established and proven channels for reaching exactly those customers.
Then, the elections were over, I finally saw some movement. And then right before Thanksgiving, I saw—perhaps not a surge—but a distinct movement toward a return to business!
I’m much more confident that continuing through to the end of the year we will see that surge. It’s a recognition that 2025 is in sight, and it’s time to reach customers again. To get those sales messages out there to loyal customers and prospective buyers, to continue to use tried-and-true media assets to accomplish that, and also try some new media offerings to test their impact!
To the buyer side of the Fox Associates community, I want you to zero in now. Spend these last few weeks setting yourselves up for a spectacular 2025. Tell your story through our proven channels in whatever format is available into January and beyond. To our sellers, please know that Fox Associates won’t be letting up. We’ll continue to get sales eblasts out asap. We’ll phone your best prospects and find out what their plans are for 2025 and let them know how you can help them achieve their goals.
Yes, it’s fun to live that Christmas spirit, and I want nothing more than that for all of you. In the meantime, in the very short time remaining in 2024, I want you to zero in on business for next year.
